“Temperatures rising. Ice caps melting. Overpopulation. War. Do you really want to bring a child into this world?”

Back in fall 2019, I got to visit The Old Vic in London and see Lungs, a play written by Duncan MacMillian, directed by Matthew Warchus, and starring Claire Foy and Matt Smith. It was brilliant, innovative, and relevant to current times.

The production was set to transfer to New York in spring 2020 at BAM, but was cancelled due to COVID-19. As a way of honoring the play and reacting to the inspiration I received in the fall, I created a series of posters as if the production was still on.
